Wallen Invites Residents to Senior Expo at Cross Keys Village

September 22, 2026

ABBOTTSTOWN – Rep. Catherine Wallen (R-Adams/Cumberland) invites older residents, their family members and caregivers to attend a Senior Expo she is hosting on Friday, Oct. 2, from 9-11 a.m., at the Nicarry Meetinghouse at Cross Keys Village in New Oxford.

The event will bring together local organizations, businesses and state agencies to provide seniors and their families with valuable information and resources in one convenient location.

“There are so many programs and services available to help seniors but knowing where to find them can sometimes be a challenge. I want to bring those resources together in one place so residents can get their questions answered and make connections that can benefit them and their families,” Wallen said.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about medical equipment, transportation options, health and wellness programs, legal services, and other programs available to help older Pennsylvanians remain healthy, active and independent. In addition to the informational resources, attendees can enjoy free giveaways throughout the event and enter to win door prizes.

Wallen said the expo also provides an opportunity for seniors and their families to connect directly with organizations serving the community.

“I encourage seniors and their families to stop by, talk with the organizations that will be there and take advantage of this opportunity,” Wallen said. “My goal is to make sure our older residents know about the resources available to them and have access to the services they need.”

The Senior Expo is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
