Meet Catherine
Rep. Catherine Wallen was born and raised in the 193rd Legislative District and was elected to represent it during a special election in March 2026. Catherine is proud to represent her family, friends and neighbors of the district in which she grew up. Serving the residents of Adams and Cumberland counties is her top priority, as is ensuring their values and voices are heard loud and clear. She is committed to strong constituent advocacy.
Before being elected to office, Catherine spent eight years serving the public as district director for the 193rd Legislative District. In that role, she developed lasting relationships with residents and local leaders to make communities across the district better places to live, work, learn and play. She brings to Harrisburg know-how based in community involvement and constituent outreach. Catherine owns and operates Orchard Views LLC, a small family farm in York Springs, where she lives with her husband, Dave. In her role as representative, she is a strong advocate for the agriculture community.
