Before being elected to office, Catherine spent eight years serving the public as district director for the 193rd Legislative District. In that role, she developed lasting relationships with residents and local leaders to make communities across the district better places to live, work, learn and play. She brings to Harrisburg know-how based in community involvement and constituent outreach.
Serving the residents of Adams and Cumberland counties is her top priority, as is ensuring their values and voices are heard loud and clear. She is committed to strong constituent advocacy.
Catherine owns and operates Orchard Views LLC, a small family farm in York Springs, where she lives with her husband, Dave. In her role as representative, she is a strong advocate for the agriculture community.
Before entering government service, Catherine worked in health care for over a decade as a financial caseworker for cancer patients and families where she assisted them through some of their most difficult moments. That experience shaped her commitment to compassionate, practical leadership.
